Pongo Snodgrass was a regular character from Krazy comic, here we see him in a one off story called 'The Thing from the swamp' [Krazy film productions] in a cliche film situation about a couple's car breaking down in a creepy place. The strip here Unusually printed in garish blood red which I think works really well. This is from page 9 of the 14th January 1978 issue of Krazy.
