Smiths Horror Bags Apron.

I had this photo kindly sent to me, I think they obtained it from another website. Well I have never seen one of these vinyl aprons before, never even knew one existed. I think it is certainly one of the best Horror Bags items I have seen before. I just love the artwork on this, sure is a stunning piece. I don't think it is one of the many promotional goodies that could be sent away for by sending off so many empty packets. What ever the story on this apron, it's just so nice to see. Still need to come across the Vampire/Dracula toothbrush, the T-shirt, I forget what others, would also love to see any store displays.

A Big thank you for the Apron photo.

2 more Minecraft re-creation builds

Here we have another 2 builds from Minecraft. The first 2 pictures show the Wicker Man, easy to  build, but can look quite effective when the Sun is going down behind the Wicker Man like in the film.

The other 2 pictures are an attempted recreation of the Haunted House book cover by Aidan Chambers, like I use for The Cobwebbed Room banner at the top of the page, I wanted to use blueish blocks to try and make it more like the colours of the book cover. Even if it doesn't much look like it, I did it because I just love the picture.

Minecraft interpretations of Dracula's Castle and Frankenstein's tower lab

I am not really a computer gamer, but I do sometimes like to go on Minecraft and get creative, either doing my own designs of buildings, parks etc. Other times I like to try and re-create buildings I like from real life or try and make buildings I remember from when I was younger, buildings that have changed or not there at all. I had a go at trying to do the castle from the Bela Lugosi Dracula film of 1931, the difficult I had with building the castle were that there just isn't enough images showing what the castle looks like on the outside and only part of the interiors were shown in the film, which is understandable as only certain rooms are needed for the film, so I concentrated on the famous staircase scene and the vault where the coffins were kept. The rest of the castle I just used what ever photos I could find to re-create the castle. The same goes for the tower Lab from the Boris Karloff Frankenstein film of 1931. Also it can be difficult getting a good scale for rooms etc because of the size of the Minecraft blocks. I am quite pleased with the results and it keeps me amused.

'Haunted House' board game [2nd edition]

It's been quite awhile since I posted on here, I'm really sorry if you have been checking back and just end up seeing the newest post from ages ago.

I did a post on this particular edition of the Haunted House game quite awhile ago, but this time I had some better photos of what looks to be the complete game. My box wasn't in the best of shape and I hadn't all the pieces.

So thank you Neil for the photos

SCAREBEARS STICKER ALBUM

The copyright on the album is 1987, the copyright on the stickers is 1986 for the Starbears and 1985 for the Scarebears stickers, the album is in 2 sections, the first is the section on Starbears which goes from sticker 1 to 180, then you flip it over from the back and this section covers the Scarebears stickers 181 to 330. The Scarebears features are Count Ted, Quasibear, Bone Bear, Hero - Worship, What I did on my holidays count Ted in Cannes France, Frankie Bear, Were Bear, Things that go bump in the night, Boo Bear and Tuten Bear. The Star Bears section of the album has the Zodiac as it's theme.

Here are a few examples from the quite rare 'Scarebears' sticker album.
