With a title change, new graphics and playing peices. Ghost Castle is basically the same game as the previous Haunted House games I have already featured. I quite like the almost photographic graphics on the castle walls, although I still prefer the more cartoon style of the older games. There is another newer version of 'Ghost Castle' which has been out a few years, will put a picture up when I find one.
It's really interesting to watch the game as its evolved each time. Thanks for sharing.

Hi all thank you for the kind comments and glad that you are enjoying the Ghost Castle pictures. Hope to try and get the newer version of Ghost Castle sometime or at least some pictures from it.
ReplyDeleteThis game was from the early 70's and was called "Which Witch". I had one as a child... (it is missing the center plastic piece that the steel ball rolled down inside the chimeny) Dr. Theda
ReplyDeleteYeah I have seen photos of the game when it was called 'Which Witch? Is it actually a British game or is Which Witch an American title?
ReplyDeleteWow. I had this as a child and it was such a neat idea. By the way, you have the axe on the incorrect side in the photo- it should be on the other side where the knight is holding it because the red feet represent danger and the skull drops from the hold onto the axe cutting down the player.
